Job Summary
Operate and supervise navigation and safety operations for small line vessels in the St. Louis area. Responsibilities include supervising the Mate and Deckhands, ensuring safe crew, vessel and tow operations via safety systems and policies, ensuring compliance with USCG and environmental laws, promoting harmony among crew, delegating vessel duties, and performing related duties. Requires a USCG Mate/Pilot license or higher, Radar endorsement, FCC Radio License, TWIC, CPR & First Aid certification, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with email, internet, and navigational systems.
