Job Summary
Small Group Reading Intervention Certified Teacher (Summer 2026) delivers high-quality small-group literacy instruction to K–5 students in a summer program. Use assessment data to differentiate instruction, implement research-based literacy strategies, and promote reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary development, and foundational reading skills. Maintain a safe, engaging classroom, monitor progress, analyze data to inform planning, and collaborate with Site Managers, Teacher Assistants, and program staff. Communicate with families as needed and participate in required staff meetings and trainings. Requires Florida Educator Certificate and Bachelor's Degree in Education, with at least one year of classroom teaching experience and Level II background screening. In-person role located in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Professional or Temporary Educator Certificate
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
- Minimum of one (1) year of classroom teaching experience
- Successful completion of a Level II Background Screening
- Ability to complete all required childcare and program training requirements
