Job Summary
Operates balers, loaders, bobcats, and forklifts to transport, bind, and unload paper and loose materials while maintaining inventory records and coordinating material flow. Sorts and grades received wastepaper, fills candensifiers, and inspects material quality before shipping. Performs routine equipment maintenance including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning, and monitors machine alarms and downtime. Ensures safety compliance, keeps work areas clean, and completes load/unload tally sheets and vehicle condition reports. Requires forklift certification, six months of work experience, and ability to work variable Monday-Friday shifts in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of previous work experience
- Forklift Certified
- Must strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols
- Subject to drug and alcohol testing including pre-employment screening, post-incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing
