Job Summary
Diagnose and repair small engine outdoor power equipment (chainsaws, snowblowers, lawnmowers, UTVs & ATVs) and provide an exceptional customer service experience. Load and unload products, locate parts, and answer questions concerning repairs. Diagnose, assemble, and repair all small engine and outdoor power equipment sold at Blain's Farm and Fleet stores. Document repairs on work orders, track units in the shop, and complete/close work orders. Assist with warranty claims, file them promptly, and contact customers regarding work completion dates. Attend training classes/seminars for repair technicians. Demonstrate awareness and compliance with loss prevention and safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Prior small engine and/or automotive maintenance experience
- Prior customer service experience
- Prior Retail experience
- Excellent communication skills
