Job Summary
Diagnose and repair small engine outdoor power equipment, recreational vehicles, and other mechanical units sold at Blain's Farm & Fleet stores. Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with loading, locating parts, and answering repair questions. Document all repairs on work orders, track units in the shop, and file warranty claims in a timely manner. Contact customers regarding completion dates and attend required training classes for repair technicians. Demonstrate compliance with loss prevention and safety policies. This role requires evening shifts and every other weekend availability. Base pay is up to $18.75/hour with Saturday and Sunday weekend premium pay of $2.50/hour. Prior experience with small engines, automotive maintenance, and retail customer service is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Be able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Prior small engine and/or automotive maintenance experience
- Prior customer service experience
- Prior Retail experience
- Excellent communication skills
