Small Engine Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose and repair a range of outdoor small engine equipment (chainsaws, snowblowers, lawnmowers, UTVs/ATVs) and provide excellent customer service in a retail setting. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, assembling, and repairing equipment; assisting customers with repairs and loading/unloading products; documenting repairs on work orders, tracking units, and closing out work orders; assisting with warranty claims; communicating with customers about completion dates; and participating in training classes. Requires 18+ years old, ability to work evenings and weekends, prior small engine/auto maintenance experience, prior customer service and retail experience, and strong communication skills. The role offers full-time employment with benefits and a pay range up to $18.75/hour (annualized to approximately $39,000).
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Prior small engine and/or automotive maintenance experience
- Prior customer service experience
- Prior Retail experience
- Excellent communication skills
