Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain small agricultural and turf equipment at customer locations while performing advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs. Respond to service calls efficiently to minimize downtime, communicate repair timelines clearly, and maintain service vehicles, tools, and parts inventory. Complete work orders and reports accurately, participate in training programs, and adhere to all safety procedures. Requires 3+ years of experience, strong mechanical aptitude, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 75 lbs. Salary ranges from $40,000 to $100,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience performing equipment service repairs
- strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing and repairing small engines
- knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostics
- basic computer skills and ability to complete digital work orders
- ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ability to provide your own tools for the role
Desired Qualifications
- experience with John Deere, turf, or agricultural equipment
- previous road service or mobile technician experience
- experience using Service Advisor or similar diagnostic software
- ability to mentor or train technician trainees
