Job Summary
Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures, repair 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines, and perform preventive maintenance on the rental fleet. Complete work orders accurately, maintain accurate parts and labor documentation, and communicate repair recommendations to the service team. Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer requirements while keeping the shop clean, safe, and organized. Assist with equipment inspections, rental readiness, and support equipment sales by explaining repair options. Work on STIHL handheld equipment, Scag mowers, Cub Cadet units, pressure washers, tillers, aerators, generators, and air compressors.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work safely throughout the day
- Basic computer skills for work orders and parts lookup
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical experience with small engines preferred
- Valid driver's license preferred
