Small Engine Mechanic

Job Summary
Create, assign, and monitor work orders while tracking service intervals and diagnosing issues using real-time data from hundreds of makes and models. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on pneumatic tools, lifts, drills, and small engines under supervision, maintaining electronic documentation daily. Order parts and assist with equipment pick-up and delivery. Use laptops, tablets, and mobile phones comfortably while practicing safe job practices. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime pay after 40 hours and on-call rotation with additional compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics and diagrams
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Active applicable state class driver's license
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be available for on-call scheduling
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Construction knowledge and background preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
