Job Summary
Conduct prompt, thorough investigations of commercial property claims by obtaining facts to determine coverage, origin, and loss extent. Perform on-site appraisals or direct independent adjustments to assess causation, damages, and exposure while managing consultants and monitoring costs. Establish accurate loss cost estimates and reserves, negotiate settlements of varying complexity, and affirm or deny coverage based on policy terms. Communicate claim status clearly to insureds, determine depreciation, and maintain accurate electronic documentation. Affirm or deny coverage based on policy terms and conditions.
