Job Summary
Generate, retain, and expand lending and depository relationships with new and existing clients through direct prospecting, cold calling, and referrals. Manage an existing portfolio of small businesses with revenues under $1MM by processing applications, screening packages, and closing loans, lines of credit, and credit cards within target timeframes. Serve as the primary link for financial services to clients, analyzing lending situations for cross-sell opportunities and collaborating with internal partners to ensure positive customer experiences. Maintain CRM data consistently and meet all established sales goals through a weekly activity plan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration
- 2+ years of outside sales experience in the financial services industry
- any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background
- Demonstrates product and new business development and/or b2b sales skills
- Demonstrates working knowledge and understanding of Small Business Banking lending practices, products, processes & policies
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrates ability to make one-on-one and group presentations
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates outbound telephone sales skills
- Demonstrates proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
