Job Summary
Sales Assistant for Small Business & Investment Services supporting Investment Representatives; performs administrative duties, handles client calls and appointments, processes mail and paperwork, follows up on appointment leads, prospects for new clients within defined markets, manages scheduling and attendance tracking for seminars/workshops, collaborates on advertising approvals with compliance, supports member relations and events, and maintains confidentiality. Requires 2 years in financial services or customer-facing sales support, strong MS Office skills, exceptional organization and communication abilities, and the ability to work onsite in Anchorage, AK.
Required Qualifications
- 2-years' experience in the financial industry; specifically, customer service phone experience or sales assistant administrative experience
- Basic understanding of financial services and products
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to effectively engage clients/prospects through effective interactions, interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply knowledge of various systems
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook); strong Outlook scheduling, calendars and emails
