Job Summary
Manage small business banking operations by servicing clients, processing transactions, and handling cash, checks, and loan payments within policy limits. Drive revenue growth by prospecting new accounts, developing deposit and loan relationships, and consistently exceeding sales goals for deposits, loans, and fee income. Analyze client financial conditions to recommend tailored solutions and coordinate referrals across other business lines. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and bank operational policies while maintaining accurate general ledger tickets and management reports. Act as the bank's community face by leading networking efforts and coaching junior bankers. Open and close the banking center daily, delivering an integrated client experience through cross-departmental collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of recent banking experience as a Small Business Banker II or higher
- Solid credit experience required, including prior responsibilities in loan structuring and credit analysis
- Demonstrated ability to source new Sales Relationships
- Demonstrated interest in coaching/mentoring other Small Business Bankers (SBBs)
- Leading calling session with other SBBs (role modeling)
- Interest in further developing leadership skills
- Ability to cross-sell: TM, Mortgages, AUM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
