Job Summary
Conduct daily banking operations including cash handling, check processing, and overdraft decisions while maintaining strict security and balancing procedures. Develop and maintain client relationships by prospecting new small businesses, analyzing financial conditions, and recommending tailored financial solutions. Consistently meet sales goals for deposits, loans, and fee income through networking, outside sales, and cold calling. Coordinate with other lines of business to refer clients and ensure compliance with regulatory training and operational policies. Manage the banking center opening and closing cycles while delivering an integrated experience for all customer account needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of recent banking experience as a Small Business Banker II or higher
- Solid credit experience
- Prior responsibilities in loan structuring
- Prior responsibilities in credit analysis
- Demonstrated success in acquiring and growing small business relationships
- Ability to complete independent pre-screens
- Ability to complete cash flow analysis
- Collaborative, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent relationship management skills
