Job Summary
As a Senior Data Scientist at Micron, you will utilize advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets and develop predictive models. This role involves designing and programming methods to consolidate and analyze diverse big data sources, collaborating with product teams for insights, and exploring new technologies for innovative solutions. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong programming skills in languages such as JAVA, Python, SQL, and C/C++ are required, along with a minimum of three years of industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or equivalent
- Demonstrated strong programming and modeling capabilities
- 3+ years of past experience in JAVA, Python, SQL, HTML, C/C++, CSS
- Demonstrated fast learning capacities in programming languages
Desired Qualifications
- Past experience in semiconductor industry, especially in semiconductor operations digital twin
- Working experience in semiconductor or manufacturing operations simulation modeling using discrete event simulation
- Working experience in optimization modeling or Operations Research using single mix integer programming, linear programming, etc.
- Knowledge and past experience with cloud solutions, API, GIT, ETL
- Strong problem solving skills with structured & logic approaches
- Clear & effective communication skills
