Conduct foreign language support services including transcription, translation, and interpretation for military interrogations, intelligence collection, and operational missions. Provide cultural and ethnic context for translations and interpretations, offering expert linguistic opinions on terms with multiple valid interpretations. Perform document exploitation, scanning, research, and analysis of foreign language documents and intercepted data to extract key information meeting military requirements, supplementing work with specific professional field knowledge. Requires US citizenship, minimum two years of interpretation/translation experience, ILR level 3 proficiency in Somali and English, document exploitation skills, and in-depth geopolitical knowledge.
