Job Summary
SM Cyber Solution Architecture role at Transport for NSW oversees the development of secure, scalable solution architectures across designated business and technology portfolios. Leads a team of solution architects to ensure solutions meet business requirements while aligning with enterprise architecture and cyber security frameworks. Drives architecture standards, roadmaps, governance, and contributes to enterprise-wide architecture frameworks and technology strategies. Provides technical oversight, produces architecture artefacts, and ensures consistency across a federated, multi-vendor delivery environment. Supports major programs by contributing to business cases, advising on solution design, and evaluating tenders and vendor proposals, while managing complex stakeholder engagements to deliver secure, fit-for-purpose outcomes across multi-vendor environments.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced cyber solution architecture leader
- strong technical depth
- ability to operate across complex enterprise environments
- background in solution architecture, technical design, and business requirements
- experience in federated or multi-sourced environments
- ability to apply modern architecture methodologies, tools, and practices
- strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills
- ability to guide architects, influence senior stakeholders, and navigate complex priorities
- balance between technical integrity, security requirements, and business outcomes
