SM Architecture Governance & Practice

Senior leader to guide the Architecture Governance & Practice across Transport for NSW. Lead enterprise, domain, and solution architecture, as well as data and AI governance, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, priorities, and long-term technology objectives. Build and maintain a holistic enterprise view of business strategy, processes, information, technology assets, and governance practices to enable scalable, sustainable, and agile ICT strategies. Drive governance at scale, uplift governance capability, and modernise approaches to support contemporary delivery practices, emerging technologies, and transformation initiatives. Develop and implement governance frameworks balancing innovation, agility, compliance, risk management, technical debt reduction, and business value. Oversee governance processes across enterprise, domain, solution, data, and AI architecture, establishing governance models, review forums, decision-making frameworks, compliance controls, and automated processes. Manage and uplift architecture repositories, standards, policy wikis, knowledge assets, and decision records to keep governance practices current and effective. Collaborate with architecture and delivery teams to link enterprise, domain, and solution practices, promoting standardisation, governance maturity, and delivery alignment across transformation programs. Provide strategic input into ICT investment and prioritisation, including financial modelling, business cases, governance assessments, and enterprise roadmaps. Influence stakeholders across business and technology domains to evolve governance frameworks in line with priorities, regulatory expectations, and capabilities in data, AI, and digital transformation.
