Job Summary
Home Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) needed to evaluate, direct, and provide speech-language pathology services in patients’ homes. Responsibilities include developing and reviewing Plan of Treatment/Care, assessing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing, administering diagnostic tests, documenting progress, providing training on alternative communication systems, counseling patients and families, coordinating care and discharge planning, and maintaining confidential patient information; requires ASHA CCC or equivalent certification, active license, CPR, and reliable transportation. PRN/part-time home-health role with strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Home Health experience
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- Good organizational and communication skills
- A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
