Job Summary
Evaluate residents and establish individualized treatment plans addressing communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders. Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy services while completing accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, physicians, nursing staff, and families to maximize functional outcomes and support discharge planning activities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional practice standards to uphold resident safety and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- M.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school
- State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Current, valid CPR/BLS credential
- Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others
- Demonstrated willingness to uphold the vision and mission of the company by following the core values of Integrity, Team work, Passion for Excellence and Reverence for the Individual
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
- Verification of qualifications by the State Department of Health
- Rehabilitation Therapies (license number/certification number)
