Job Summary
Evaluate patients' speech or language difficulties to determine therapy needs, teach sound production and voice improvement, and instruct alternative communication methods like sign language for non-verbal patients. Educate healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises to support progress between sessions, while documenting clinical notes and visit documentation per agency policy. Provide one-on-one care in Griffin, GA, with flexible PRN scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program", "A minimum of one (1) year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist", "Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing", "Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
