Job Summary
Communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language difficulties and determine the need for continued therapy services. Teach patients to make sounds, improve voices, and utilize alternative communication methods like sign language. Educate healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises to support progress outside direct sessions. Document appropriate progress, clinical notes, and visit documentation per agency policy. This part-time and PRN role covers Morgantown and surrounding counties, offering flexible scheduling and benefits including medical insurance and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- A minimum of one (1) year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
