Job Summary
SLP needed to provide direct speech-language pathology services to children ages 3-5 in a school setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans, providing one-on-one, small group, and classroom-based therapy, addressing articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication, collaborating with teachers and families, maintaining records per ODE/IDEA, participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams, training staff on strategies and accommodations, and using AAC devices and assistive technology to support communication. Requires Master’s in SLP, Oregon licensure, and ODE teaching license with Communication Disorders endorsement; CCC-SLP preferred; fingerprint clearance. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology License
- Oregon Department of Education (ODE) Professional Teaching License with Communication Disorders Endorsement (required for school-based positions)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
