Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) needed for the school year to provide direct SLP services in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings. Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans, address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication challenges, collaborate with teachers/parents/special education teams, maintain documentation per NCDPI/IDEA guidelines, participate in IEP meetings and evaluations, and train staff on speech-language strategies and accommodations. Licensed in NC with CCC-SLP preferred; fingerprint clearance required. Work involves contracts up to 40 hours per week with benefits and opportunities for extension or conversion to permanent roles.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License
- North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Professional Educator’s License in Speech-Language Pathology (required for school-based positions)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
