Job Summary
Provide direct speech-language therapy to pre-school students in a school-based setting for the school year. Responsibilities include conducting speech, language, and communication assessments; developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans; delivering therapy in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings; addressing articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication challenges; collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education teams; maintaining records compliant with ODE/IDEA guidelines; participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions; training and supporting teachers on speech-language strategies and accommodations; opportunity to extend the contract or transition to a permanent position; benefits include paid holidays, paid time off, professional development reimbursements, insurance, and retirement savings.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License
- Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Services License for SLPs
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
