Job Summary
In-person Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) positions for Maternity Leave, serving K-5th grade with two openings in Elmhurst, IL. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication needs; developing and implementing IEPs; providing direct therapy in individual, small group, and classroom settings; addressing articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension and expression, and social communication; collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams; maintaining accurate records compliant with ISBE and IDEA; participating in IEP meetings and evaluations; educating staff and parents on strategies to enhance communication skills. 다양한 benefits and contractual terms are provided, including potential contract extension or conversion opportunities and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) License
- Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist Endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
