Job Summary
Provide direct school-based speech-language pathology services, conducting assessments to identify student needs, developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans, and delivering therapy in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings. Address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication challenges; collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support student progress; maintain accurate records in compliance with Ohio Department of Education (ODE) and IDEA guidelines; participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions; train and support teachers and staff on speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations; contract up to 4 days per week in Pataskala, OH. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License
- Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Services License for SLPs (required for school-based positions)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
