Job Summary
SLP sought for school-year-based contract role in Columbia, SC. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, and social communication needs; developing and implementing IEPs; delivering direct therapy in individual, group, and classroom settings; addressing articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic language challenges; collaborating with teachers/parents/teams; maintaining documentation per OSPI and IDEA standards; participating in IEP meetings and progress reviews; and providing staff/family education to reinforce communication strategies across environments. Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or CSD, SC licensure or eligibility, CCC-SLP or CFY candidacy, and fingerprint clearance. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid South Carolina state license or eligibility for licensure through the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required.
