Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for the school year, full-time on-site in a K-12 setting in Floresville, TX. Responsibilities include conducting speech, language, and communication assessments; developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans; delivering direct speech-language services in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings; addressing articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication challenges; collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education teams; maintaining TEA/IDEA-compliant records; participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions; training teachers and staff on speech-language strategies and accommodations; utilizing AAC devices and assistive technology to support student communication. Requires a Master’s in SLP, TX licensure, TEA SLP certificate for school-based roles, and fingerprint clearance; CCC-SLP preferred. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Texas Speech-Language Pathology License (TDLR)
- Texas Education Agency (TEA) Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate (required for school-based positions)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
