Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech and language treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary. Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Celebrate patient victories and contribute to a collaborative inpatient rehabilitation team at Encompass Health. This PRN role supports the nation’s largest rehabilitation company, delivering evidence-based speech pathology services in an inpatient setting with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing education.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
