SLP Patient Rehabilitation

Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in an inpatient setting. Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary; track patient performance, progress and response to treatment; celebrate patient victories as part of a collaborative care team. Requires current state licensure or certification and CCC eligibility, CPR within 30 days of hire, and a Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree with field experience. This PRN role contributes to Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation services and supportive team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-LPathologist Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
