Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist providing 1:1 rehabilitative therapy in the community and in care facilities as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing treatment plans and action steps, delivering personalized rehabilitation services in patients' homes or care facilities, and continuously evaluating and adjusting plans of care. Requires NY licensure for SLP/Audiologist and a valid driver's license outside Manhattan; per-visit compensation terms and potential for professional development opportunities are included.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year speech language pathology experience or successful completion of probationary period as a VNS Health Rehab Intern
- Licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist/Audiologist in New York State
- Valid driver‘s license required for all areas outside the borough of Manhattan
