Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver personalized rehabilitation therapy to individuals recovering from disorders, surgery, illness, or accidents. Practice independently in the community as part of an interdisciplinary care team while constantly evaluating evolving patient needs to adjust plans of care. Provide therapy in patient homes or care facilities, assessing progress by being embedded in their daily lives. Earn $45.09 to $56.39 per hour or $70 to $75 per visit. Requires New York State licensure and one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year speech language pathology experience
- Successful completion of probationary period as a VNS Health Rehab Intern
- Licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist/Audiologist in New York State
- Valid driver's license
