Job Summary
Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing needs while developing individualized treatment plans based on resident goals. Provide skilled therapy for communication, cognition, and dysphagia, monitor progress, and adjust approaches as appropriate. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and physicians. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Full-time position with clinical fellowship supervision and mentorship in a supportive skilled nursing environment. Salary is $30/hour with an increase after nine months.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligible to complete a Clinical Fellowship in New York
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills
