Job Summary
Slovenian Language Instructor needed in Washington, DC for in-person instruction at ICLS. Teaching assignments may be full-time or part-time for private students and/or small groups across a range of proficiency levels. Requires a minimum of two years’ experience teaching Slovenian to adults, native-level Slovenian, and at least a bachelor’s degree; legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred qualifications include a post-graduate degree in teaching or second language acquisition, familiarity with ILR scale, curriculum development experience, and experience preparing students for DoD/Foreign Service proficiency testing. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Slovenian to adults in a full-time setting
- Native-level proficiency in Slovenian
- Possess at minimum a bachelor’s degree
