Job Summary
Place new items into location assignments using logical ti/hi and FIFO criteria, and maintain GMP practices, flammability considerations, and special customer requirements. Analyze aisle movements to enhance productivity, perform maintenance moves to reduce damage and improve ergonomics, and use item forecasts to assist shipping with staging areas. Maintain all location labels, balance efficiencies between shipping and receiving, and serve as a liaison between warehouse and procurement for dimensional and description issues. Monitor WHS exception reports, manage physical location repair issues, and assist management with quality research. Create layouts that minimize damage and shrinkage. Requires previous warehouse management experience, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent math, reading, communication (verbal and written) and problem solving/analytical skills
- Ability to handles multiple tasks
- Attention to detail, solid judgment, and decision-making skills
- Forklift certification may be required
- Microsoft Office platform
- Ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs. solo or greater weights in a team lift
- Previous Warehouse Management (WMS) experience required
