Job Summary
Monitor machine performance, assist players, and ensure all gaming areas remain functional and welcoming. Resolve payment problems or technical difficulties, collect jackpots, and explain game rules. Handle customer service issues regarding payouts and game topics. Take beverage orders and serve them accurately. Maintain knowledge of casino offerings, events, and products. Work in a 24/7 high-energy casino environment with over 300,000 sq. ft. of space.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Zero to two (2) years of casino slot or direct guest service experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency
- Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning
- Ability to handle multi-tasking heavy, work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, and work under variable temperatures and noise levels
- Ability to use near vision, see details at close range
- Ability to perform frequent standing/walking
- Ability to lift/carry of up to 25 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive use of both hands to include light and firm grasping and finger dexterity
- Ability to use stairs and elevators
- Good communication skills
