Job Summary
Manage proper function and maintenance of all gaming devices, their related components, and support systems while safeguarding owner assets and ensuring budgetary compliance. Resolve machine variances, par deviations, and system anomalies; assist the Slot Director in slot analysis, projections, budgeting, and purchasing. Supervise all Slot Technicians, Lead Technicians, and Bench Technicians by making necessary decisions, evaluating performance, creating standards, and delegating staff scheduling. Maintain confidentiality on internal matters, comply with policies from the Sac & Fox and National Indian Gaming Commissions, and ensure guest safety in a noisy environment. Obtain and maintain a gaming license in accordance with Tribal Compact provisions.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate/GED
- Associates degree in electronics technology with four (4) years experience as Slot Technician Supervisor and satisfactory completion of electronic industry trade school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of Theory of Operation of gaming devices and support systems
- working knowledge of Tribal Compact provisions and the Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work independently without supervision
- Must be flexible with working hours and days off
- Must be self-motivated, responsible and must possess leadership qualities
- Must possess good communication and writing skills
- Must possess tact, diplomacy and initiative in resolving of guest or employee concern and ensuring interdepartmental cooperation
- Must be able to meet all internal supervisory or higher, training and education requirements
- Must be confidential
- Some lifting up to 25 pounds may be required
- In-town and out-of-town travel will be required
- Must be able to effectively instruct and guide all technicians
- Must be able to ensure proper communication to the Slot Director
