Job Summary
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic slot machine malfunctions, replacing parts and circuit boards while fabricating standard components. Perform machine initial fills, assist in jackpot payouts and verification, and inspect, install, and remove slot machines. Maintain player-tracking systems, troubleshoot system-related problems, and complete all regulatory logs and operational forms. Adhere to departmental policies regarding guest service standards and maintain strict confidentiality. Requires an associate degree in electronics or equivalent slot repair experience, general understanding of circuit boards and microprocessors, and strong problem-solving skills. Starting salary is $17.00 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Programming, or related field
- minimum one (1) year of Slot Repair experience
- minimum two (2) years of progressive Slot Repair experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- General understanding of electronics at the circuit board level
- General understanding of microprocessors
- strong problem-solving, analytical, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- fluent and literate in English
- ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with guests and team members at all levels of the organization
- ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
