Job Summary
Slot Inventory Coordinator responsible for end-to-end inventory management of slot-related parts and devices, including tracking shipments, coordinating with Purchasing on outstanding issues, replenishment planning, monthly counts, and ensuring secure storage and compliant handling of slot game components. Maintains and enters data in the inventory-tracking system, prepares games for shipment, and adheres to safety and departmental policies. Requires high school diploma or GED, training in repair/maintenance of electronic slot machines, and 1–2 years of related experience with strong inventory-control, basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, and proficient computer/data-entry skills. Emphasizes collaboration with Purchasing, organization of stock, and participation in team trainings within Viejas Casino & Resort in San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of training instruction in the repair and maintenance of electronic slot machines
- 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Understanding of inventory control and record keeping procedures
- Basic knowledge of electricity and/or mechanical equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Good verbal and interpersonal skills
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
