Job Summary
Provide guest service and support to slot players by maintaining a slot floor presence, explaining game rules, and responding to service calls via radio or smart device. Multi-task in a fast-paced environment by assisting guests with questions, maintaining a clean gaming environment, and supporting club card, marketing, and drink service needs. Repair minor slot machine errors such as bill acceptor tilts and printer issues, then contact appropriate personnel for further repairs. Process jackpot winnings by verifying games, documenting payouts, and fulfilling payments up to the approved level while celebrating with guests. Redeem tickets, process hand pays, and conduct cash transactions with accuracy. Protect casino assets by identifying counterfeit currency, observing floor activity, and reporting suspicious activity or procedural irregularities in compliance with all gaming regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or G.E.D.
- 1 year of guest service experience
- Cash handling experience
- Ability to understand and retain slot rules, regulations and procedures
- Ability to count cash and make change in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to detect counterfeit currency
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to sit, walk or stand for up to 10 hours at a time
- Ability to carry 10+ pounds in an apron around your waist
- Ability to appear for work on time
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to learn and use new technology
- Ability to complete forms and documents in the English language
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure including appearance
- Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
- Ability to accept constructive feedback
- Ability to operate communications equipment
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to use a Smart Device and navigate through applications
