Job Summary
Observe slot players and machines in specific areas while providing instruction and answering questions on various games to ensure guests have a memorable experience. Manage cash floats, verify jackpot payouts, and provide monetary change to guests while reporting any violations and escalating to the appropriate level. Replenish and maintain slot machines by monitoring stack lights to ensure prompt service, and assist with awareness of ongoing and upcoming casino promotions. Manage slot machine reservations and promote casino initiatives in compliance with internal controls, company policies, and provincial lottery or gaming procedures. Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience handling cash and working with the public
- Superior customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time and pull, lift, and carry objects weighted similar to a full box of paper
- Serving It Right (BC)/ Proserve (Alberta) certificate/ Smart Serve (Ontario)
- The ability to obtain registration with either the BCLC, AGLC or AGCO (based on province)
- DealUs In (Phase 1) and Reel Facts VLT training within 30 days of start (Alberta)

- Basic knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset
