Job Summary
Observe slot players and machines in specific areas, offering instruction and answering questions to ensure guests have a memorable experience. Manage slot machine reservations, promote casino initiatives, and handle cash floats while verifying and providing jackpot payouts and monetary change. Replenish and maintain slot machines, monitor stack lights, and report violations to the appropriate level as necessary. Work in compliance with internal controls, company policies, and provincial gaming regulations. Acquire knowledge of all slot operation policies and procedures while performing other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience handling cash and working with the public
- Superior customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time and pull, lift, and carry objects weighted similar to a full box of paper
- Serving It Right (BC)/ Proserve (Alberta) certificate/ Smart Serve (Ontario)
- The ability to obtain registration with either the BCLC, AGLC or AGCO (based on province)
- DealUs In (Phase 1) and Reel Facts VLT training within 30 days of start (Alberta)

- Basic knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a team environment
