Job Summary
The Slot Ambassador role focuses on delivering an exceptional casino guest experience on the casino floor. Responsibilities include verifying guest identity and age for gaming, greeting and assisting guests with slot operations, explaining jackpot payout procedures, and resolving slot-machine issues promptly. The position requires ensuring machines are clean, maintained, and compliant with gaming regulations, assisting with minor troubleshooting, handling confidential guest information, and staying informed about casino promotions and new slot games. Key skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, familiarity with electronic slot equipment and reading schematics, basic math proficiency, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. The role is based in-person in Las Vegas, NV, and necessitates eligibility for Nevada gaming-related requirements and possible background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- At least 1 year of experience as a Slot Ambassador or similar role within the gaming and/or hospitality industries
- Familiarity with electronic and slot equipment
- Proficient understanding of electronics down to the circuit board level with the ability to read and understand schematics
- Ability to perform intermediate math
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse Team Members and guests alike
- Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card
- The ability to submit to a background check and drug test is required
