Job Summary
Configure and deploy Service Plan, Service Requirement, and Work Card modules within an SLM or PLM platform, customizing data models to support customer-specific business processes. Collaborate with enterprise architects and business analysts to define technical requirements, ensuring data integrity and configuration consistency across service lifecycle modules. Participate in workshops and design sessions to gather input, while supporting integration efforts with ERP, MES, and field service systems. Develop documentation and configuration guides for implemented functionality. This two-month part-time project requires a Bachelor's degree and three years of hands-on experience with SLM tools like Teamcenter or Windchill.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SLM or PLM tools (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA)
- Proven experience configuring and extending Service Plan, Service Requirement, and Work Card objects in a real-world customer environment
- Strong understanding of service BOMs, maintenance task definitions, and digital service documentation
- Familiarity with data model extension techniques and best practices
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Teamcenter SLM or similar platforms
- Knowledge of scripting, XML, or proprietary configuration languages used in PLM systems
- Familiarity with service execution systems or field service management tools
- Certification in PLM/SLM platforms or formal training in lifecycle management
