Slitter Operator

Operate the Slitter Machine to supply quality product while meeting deadlines in a safe manner. Check blade sharpness, verify grinder settings, and ensure conveyors function properly. Set cores, tape, and shrink-wrap according to the Customer Product Master. Complete the Slitter Production Report with material type, run, length, and order information. Perform visual quality checks, verify foam type against tickets, and notify the Group Leader for First Article Inspection when switching orders. Measure dimensional data and ensure all quality standards are met. Maintain proper PPE including safety glasses, dust masks, and blade gloves in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
