Job Summary

Set up, operate, and monitor slitting equipment to meet production goals while maintaining safety standards and quality specifications. Execute efficient job changeovers, perform regular quality control inspections, and input accurate production data into the PRISM system. Identify and report quality issues, participate in preventative maintenance, and maintain clean work areas. This role reports to the Shift Supervisor. Candidates must be 18 years of age, pass pre-employment assessments and background checks, and may work flexible shifts including nights with overtime and weekend availability.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age

  • Must be in good standing with no disciplinary action or attendance issues
  • Performer or higher on last performance review
  • Must be able to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to climb, kneel, bend, stoop, reach and squat
  • Manual dexterity for grasping, machine operation, and fine motor skills
  • Visual acuity including color discrimination
  • Ability to wear required PPE (hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses)
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift and pallet jacks certifications
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts
  • May require overtime, weekends, and holidays

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience a plus
  • Demonstrated stable work history
