Job Summary
Dispatch guests from children's water slides safely by verifying height, age, and safety requirements before allowing rides. Monitor entry areas for proper spacing, provide clear instructions, and enforce park rules while addressing unsafe behavior. Maintain a clean, organized slide platform and communicate with lifeguards regarding ride operations and guest concerns. Assist with opening, operating, and closing duties, plus general water park operations as assigned. Respond appropriately during emergencies following established procedures. Attend all required training sessions and safety meetings. Available to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests of all ages
- Must be vigilant, attentive, and committed to safety
- Must remain alert and focused throughout an entire shift
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
- Available to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods
- Requires continuous standing and bending for extended periods
- Requires frequent walking and stair climbing to dispatch platforms
- Requires occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine, and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech
