SLI Pasting Offbearer- 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Transport pasted SLI plates from the pasting line machine to appropriate storage racks while assisting in equipment set-up and changeover processes. Identify and report product, process, and quality system non-conformities to lead personnel, then support corrective and preventative actions. Inspect produced product for adherence to quality characteristics and perform light equipment maintenance or part replacement as needed. Troubleshoot mechanical equipment for proper operation and maintain day-to-day housekeeping of the production floor. Follow all plant safety guidelines, including proper PPE use and OSHA respirator fit testing, while ensuring compliance with the Crown Quality System. Work 3rd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment lifting up to 75 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Experience with safety and environmental training
- Minimum 1 year manufacturing/factory experience preferred in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, supervision, and management
- Familiar with inspection equipment, gauges, and measuring tools
- Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds frequently and in excess of 140 pounds infrequently
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Must follow OSHA guidelines on respirator fit testing and proper wear
- Will wear goggles or face shield at all times while in department
