Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist responsible for conducting screenings and evaluations for students across grade levels, developing educationally relevant treatment plans, providing direct services using multiple delivery models, monitoring progress, maintaining documentation, and training/supervising staff or supervised trainees. Collaborates with teachers and school teams to support communication goals, participates in IEP processes, and ensures compliance with district, state, and federal policies; travel to various school sites may be required. Licensure or educator certification in Speech-Language Pathology is required or provisionally accepted for fellows; CCC is preferred. Works within a school district setting with emphasis on professional practice, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Department of Health License in Speech Language Pathology or Florida Educator Certificate in Speech Language Impaired K-12
- American Speech Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
- Provisional License accepted for clinical fellows
